Job Brief

A scalp consultant must be able to diagnose disorders and diseases of the hair and scalp. They examine a client's hair and scalp and decide on an appropriate course of action. Using objective scientific techniques, the consultant studies a patient's hair and scalp for disorders. These can include damaged or thinning hair and skin infections and diseases. The consultant will discuss hair care, medical history, diet, and lifestyle with the client. After diagnosis treatment will be prescribed.
